Release

Version 2026.10

Meetings can now have a time zone, and participants see the times in their own time zone. The feature is in beta.

Time zone support (beta)

When participants are in different time zones, "10:00" doesn't mean the same thing to everyone. In time zone mode you choose a time zone and clock times for the meeting, and the service converts the times to each participant's own time zone.

Time zone mode can be enabled for new meetings. When creating a meeting, choose Pick clock times and a time zone, search for the time zone by name, for example Helsinki, and add the times with the clock field.

For participants

In the registration view, times are shown in the viewer's own time zone, with the meeting's own time in parentheses. The time zone can also be changed from the view.

Changing the time zone

The meeting's time zone can be changed from the meeting management. You also choose whether the clock times are converted to the new time zone or kept as they are. A preview of the change is shown before you confirm it.

Good to know

  • You can switch from time zone mode back to free-text times, but the times then stay as plain text and are no longer converted. This cannot be undone.
  • The feature is in beta, so let us know if you notice anything odd.

Small fixes

We've made small fixes and background updates that aren't visible to users but keep the service working and secure.
