Do I have to make an account?

You do not need an account for using Tapaaminen.net. You can create and participate in meetings without an account.

Creating an account makes administering meetings easier since it attaches meetings and participations to your account.

What is the difference between the meeting link and the admin link?

The meeting link is the public link you share with participants so they can register. The admin link lets you edit the meeting, see all registrations and manage the meeting.

Do not share the admin link with participants.

How do I share the meeting with participants?

You can share the meeting by sharing the public meeting link with participants.

Some ways to share the link:

  • send the link via email
  • share the link in WhatsApp
  • share the link in Moodle
  • share the link in a forum

Where do I find the meeting links?

When you created the meeting you received an email containing the admin link and the meeting link.

If you were logged in when creating the meeting, you can also find the links from your account page.

If you cannot find the link, send us an email at help@tapaaminen.net.

Can I edit the meeting after creating it?

Yes, you can edit the meeting via the admin link. You can change the meeting name, description, times and other settings.

Can I set a password for the meeting?

Yes, you can set a password for the meeting. Participants will need to enter the password before they can register.

How long is the meeting valid?

The meeting is valid until you delete it. Meetings are not automatically deleted.

Can I limit the number of participants per time slot?

Yes, you can set how many registrations per time slot are allowed. This is useful for example when a venue has a limited capacity.

Will I get notified about new registrations?

Currently the service does not send notifications about new registrations. This feature is being considered.

Can I delete the meeting?

Yes, you can delete the meeting via the admin link. A deleted meeting is no longer visible to participants.
